Well it was gettin late
in the all-free state
And the train shop n' bar
was about to close
When all of a sudden
arose a commotion
Between two factions
of hobbyists
Both as drunk as a hose.

Said one to the other,
"Your layout's shit, man,
and your running of it
has gone to hell"
And in quick reply
the other group jibed,
"With your crappy locos
and other equipment,
It's likely just as well."

So the two groups were pissed,
Enough to make a boiler blow
But before the punches missed
Or were even thrown
The bartender leveled his heavy towel
SMACK, like a gavel
And to their dismay,

Hello fellow railfans! I'm acela, 24 years old and living in Southern California. I have been on dA for over 5 years, and I have met many interesting and wonderful people on this site. I love helping to build and grow the railfan community (check out The-Railfan-Nation, our main group; and our chatroom, DaRailyard, as well). I also like landscape photography (aside from train photography), poetry, and many other things.

For those of you who like reading about travels--past, present, and future--to far-off places, and for those of you who like music while you're travelling, I've started up a brand-new blog. I am now into my 4th week of writing it, and there's no end in sight to the material I have available from memory for it, which is a good thing. I've started blogs in the past but none of them have ever really stuck, and travel is the subject I feel most confident talking about, I've found.
